Ok, here we go AGAIN...

This will be my second attempt at blogging. I really don't want to forget moments like THIS:

I mean REALLY...  I LOVE MY BOYS.  Gotta document all of their shenanigans! ;-)

Jonathan is now THREE years old, and he just started his third year of preschool at Celebration Academy.  When I asked him to pose for some first-day-of-school pictures, THIS is what I got:

Nice, right?  :-)

Sweet Harvey is 7 months old now, and he truly might be the happiest baby
on the block:

(well he's happy until his brother hits him on the head, that is...)

Since this blog will serve as my kids' baby book, I should note that
Harvey is crawling (he started at 5 months)...

and he's standing (started at 7 months)...

and he's teething in a major way.  This little guy will put ANYTHING in his mouth...

Jonathan and Harvey have already formed quite the brotherly bond.  After Harvey's birth, Jonathan said to me, "Mom, please don't put Harvey back in your belly tonight.  I want to see him in the morning!"
So precious!  Such good brothers...

Ok, so clearly I'm a mother who loves her babies.  I could go on and on and on (try to contain your excitement here), but I need to wrap it up now.  Randy has been wrangling the kiddos for the past hour, and he needs a break!  (Actually, for the record, Randy has been wrangling the kiddos for the last several WEEKS while I've been battling this whole Lyme disease thing.  LOVE my husband!)

Future posts will be MUCH shorter, and far more exciting!  XOXO, Meredith :-)

Welcome to our family blog!

Welcome! I've been inspired by Paige (and Candice, too) to create a family blog. If nothing else, this will serve as a unique baby book for my son, Jonathan (or, as we're calling him this month, John :-). Isn't he adorable?!

I hope to add new posts every week or so, but I guess that's like telling my husband that "I'll be ready in five minutes"... of course I'm never ready in five minutes... "five minutes" is code for at least double that, maybe even triple. Soooooo, I'm aiming to update our blog every week, but it may in fact be every month. In any case, I hope to keep our friends and family - who are spread far and wide - tuned in to the latest and greatest happenings in our home. We are incredibly blessed, and we're eager to share those blessings with everyone we love (ahem, that's YOU!). :-)

Just a little P.S. - Thanks for your patience as I learn how to blog!

XO,
M
